While the new ham shack isn’t feature complete and won’t be for some time yet, it is running at somewhat reduced capacity-but reduced is good enough. The above map is the visual summation of my 30 contacts in the IARU World DX Championship for 2020. (Here’s a link from the ARRL with more details.)
While many don’t understand the attraction of ham radio, for me, the challenge of teasing one of those stations out of the static and noise and completing even the brief contest-required exchange of information (a signal report and IARU zone) is just like catnip to a cat, minus the rolling about on the floor.
