I feel like I’m kicking someone when they’re down. However, they did it to themselves, and I feel that it is instructive to the rest of us.
California bet big on renewable energy, and now they’re finding out that the house always wins. There is not enough “green energy” at the right times, and they are paying the price in blackouts as they try to conserve their way out of the situation.
We’ll see how that works out for them in the long run. At least in the short run, it’s made of suck and fail.
