The notion that banks were forced to take TARP money and cough up preferred shares to our benighted government is now confirmed as fact.
Please note that it started under the leadership of that noted “”compassionate conservative” George W. Bush, who may have been the former but hardly the latter.
The Obama has only taken advantage of what his predecessor started.
