I hate it when the WEF is in Davos. All sorts of nonsensical crap gets treated like it’s a good idea.
Hans Joachim Schellnhuber from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) said this week that every person should have a limit of three tonnes of C02 emissions per year and those who exceed their limit should be forced to pay for the pleasure.

Three tons of carbon per person. Would you care to make a guess at how much carbon the average American caused in 2021?
I wonder how much those extra tons would cost us. $100/ton? $1,000/ton? $10,000/ton? I mean, saving the planet is a big business expense.
I admit that an individual “carbon tax” is different wording from my “BTU tax”, but how do you get the carbon? Mostly by burning fuel, which is where the BTUs and carbon are.
In essence, they want us to make an 80% cut in our energy use. They want us all to party like it’s 1872. They’re insane, and they want us dead.
I’m calling this a win and hoping that the remainder of my worst fears are misses.
