Bleeding control when you can’t use a tourniquet

A new device, approved by the TCCC, is available for bleeding control in places where a tourniquet won’t work. The iTClamp works by securing the edges of the wound and trapping blood, causing a hematoma, the resultant pressure from which helps stem the bleeding. Pretty ingenious.
