No matter what country you live in, if you are retired, are anticipating retirement or are planning for retirement, your government is out to be sure that you will die starving in a cold, dimly lit room.

Your options are few. Somehow change the government or at least their strategy (highly unlikely to impossible), figure out how to pile up enough money that the government’s strategy fails on an individual level (difficult), refuse to play their game (also difficult but probably the easiest course available) or plan on working until you die (ensuring that you feed the beast as long as possible, thus keeping things going just like they are).
Got a plan? If not, you better start making one unless you want to wind up as Soylent Green.
