Is not necessarily out of mind, at least not when it comes to concealing a gun in a piece of furniture. And we’re not taking about stashing it in a drawer, but about concealing it in a purpose-built compartment.
Covert Furniture offers several styles of case goods with hidden compartments that can accommodate handguns up to long guns. Not high-style furniture, but not high-style furniture prices, either. Can’t say that I’m enthused about their apparent attempt to patent the concept, given that there’s a wee bit of prior art, but that seems to be the way of the world these days. And of course, no one says you can’t modify something you already own, or build something yourself, right?
