I’m probably the last person to blog this, but yesterday evening Gov. McCrory signed HB 937 into law, bringing the North Carolina concealed carry statute much more in line with that in other states. I’d like to thank the governor and the general assembly for their efforts in this matter, as well as Grass Roots North Carolina, whose tireless advocacy was instrumental in getting this done.
The NRA, on the other hand, gets a big wet raspberry for sticking their damned nose into things that are not their concern. Stick to the federal questions, please. As a learning experience for them, all my NRA-ILA contributions for this year will go to GRNC instead.
I’m actually quite stoked, since my current employer is covered under this law. Now if they just don’t post the place….
