A lot of people (me included) have posted on the Jose Guerena shooting. Out of all of it all, there is one that I think stands out, and that’s the work of Confederate Yankee. Three whoppin’ big posts so far, and all worth the time and effort to read.
Also instructive is what Massad Ayoob had to say shortly after the fact. I notice that after that he seems to be sitting this one out as far as I can find. Probably a smart move on his part. I have a lot of respect for him as a gunnie of longer standing than I and for the things he’s accomplished, but he’s cost himself with me. It seems that no matter what, the Blue Wall of Silence reigns supreme.
