Here we go again

Folks, the Anti-Freedom Brigade is at it again, and please note, they aren’t waiting for the Presidential election. From the NRA-ILA:

This week, Senator Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA) and Congressman Xavier Becerra (D-CA) introduced “microstamping” legislation titled the “National Crime Gun Identification Act of 2007.” The bill is co-sponsored in the Senate by Senators Feinstein (D-CA), Menendez (D-NJ), Lautenberg (D-NJ), Durbin (D-IL), Schumer (D-NY), and Reed (D-RI).

Looks sort of like a “Who’s Who” of the ranks of gun grabbers, doesn’t it?

Gunnies, if one of these critters is your “representative”, then we really need for you to get on the email or the fax and let them have a piece of your mind. Sure, it won’t change their minds, but if enough of that group known as registered voters in their districts complains, it may well change their vote, and that’s what counts. The rest of us need to get onto our reps and ask them to do everything they can to bury this one deep.

Folks, this is what we’re in for, no matter who wins the next election. From a Second Amendment perspective, I see no good candidate out there. So for the next several years, we’re in for one attack after another. Hitch up your gunbelts and get ready, because this is going to be a rough one. And whatever you do, do give up the fight.
