RFID tags are bandied about as a technological cure-all for identity theft, speeding checkout at the grocery store, providing loss-proof identification and finally answering that pesky question, “Who shot JFK?” (OK, I made up the JFK part.)

It seems to me that all we’ll be doing is making identity theft easier and less dangerous.
