Joe Biden Replacement Theory

There are a lot of rumblings about the Intertubz that Ol’ SloJoe was set up. The people who put him in office by hook and crook are now ready for him to leave, and he just isn’t willing to accept that message. I’ve wondered about that myself.

The problem is how to remove him at this late point in the election process. Some states will not allow a replacement on the ballot; they happen to be important swing states. It would look bad because they were ignoring their voters. So on and so forth. Even the 25th Amendment won’t help them, since it still leaves him on the ballot.

I ran across this article while taking a quick tour of the news sites. The money quote is “It’s not that simple, logistically or politically, as long he’s still alive.”

You heard it here first.

  1. Might be the Dem’s best path is to leave Old Sniffer in place. If he somehow wins, they’re in good shape. If he loses, then they have 4 years during which they can blame everything on Trump.

Either way, they’ll have 4 years during which they can come up with a plan for the next cycle.

If Trump wins, he’ll be inheriting such a huge mess that he won’t be able to be very effective anyway. Though judicial appointments will provide some opportunities.

  2. If Slow Joe is re-elected, they could invoke the 25th to remove him, or he could die in office. I expect they will team him with whoever they really want to headline, probably not Kamala Ha Ha. Maybe Big Mike, maybe Newsom, who knows. I think Joe is just a way to get inside, go a little deeper, to get more control for their next step.
