Four volunteer firefighters responding to a pre-dawn house fire were shot Monday morning, two fatally, leading to a shootout in suburban Rochester, N.Y., police said.

This in one of the states with the strictest firearms laws in the United States.  How much proof will it take that gun control laws aren’t what we need?
