Peg the Hypocrisy Meter: “I know, let’s hold the old folks hostage!”

In the game of “Debt Ceiling Brinksmanship”, the Big O decides to one up the Republicans, who are always accused by Democrats of hating the poor and wanting to send senior citizens out on the ice floes to die.

It seems to me that “cynical political move” doesn’t quite cover it here….
