Yes, North Carolinans, your state government is out of control

You might remember my post where some Raleigh residents were accused of practicing engineering without a license because they submitted a report that was “too good”. Now, via An NC Gun Blog, we find out that one of their number has been accused of practicing law without a license. Thankfully, the NC Bar Association called BS on that one when emails surfaced that showed the man in question specifically stated that he wasn’t acting in that capacity.

Andrew Ritter, the director of the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors, says that “Your normal citizen doesn’t understand the complex nature of engineering.”

Andrew, that might be so, although I’d not bet on it. But I know one thing that most “normal citizens” understand–our state government is out of control, and you are one of the poster boys for it.
