And it didn’t work very well? I can remember having to cough up all kinds of personal information and sign a log to buy ammo once upon a time. Crime remained just as high as ever.

AB 962 would compel those who sell ammunition to be licensed the same as gun dealers, and mandate a face-to-face transaction when someone buys ammunition.

Funny thing, though…North Carolina passed shall issue concealed carry, and crime went down. I wonder if California might consider that?
