Looks like time to update those disaster bingo cards.
It’s nothing new. People have been predicting the outbreak of civil wars in the West for years now. John Wilder has a monthly post tracking our progress toward that goal for some time. He also has a useful post about the signposts we’ll pass on our way to CW II. And yes, before anyone says it, we’re all aware that we’re probably in the early stages of the thing.
Forward Observer (something you ought to subscribe to if you have the coin) has dropped a couple of videos on the topic of “Civil War Comes to the West”. They’re worth watching.
I’ve said for a long time that a fall was coming, but that I couldn’t predict when. I still say it’s coming, and I’ll also say it’s both closer and further away than we think. Closer, because more and more indicators of the conflict are being met. Further away because it seems to be human nature to see danger in the immediate future.
Keep your eyes and mind open.
Been hearing “(un)Civil War is just around the corner”, for what, 30, 40 Years now? “But This Time, for Sure, Really!”
As Long as there’s Gas and Cheap Beer at the Corner Store, (something resembling) ‘food’ at the Grocery Store, Sportsball on TeeVee and Pron on the Interwebz, NOBODY is going to bother to Overthrow the (zionist occupation) ‘government’.
Actually, various thinkers have been concerned about civil war in general and another civil war in the US for a century. (Yes, we can argue that the first one wasn’t really a civil war. Roll with it for now.) See https://www.militarystrategymagazine.com/article/civil-war-comes-to-the-west-part-ii-strategic-realities/ for details. These things take far more time to develop that most would believe. It’s when they finally start to happen and years happen within days that people most notice/remember.
In the US, we’re starting to see more and more of the worrying signs. The article referenced above points to the destruction of “cultural capital” as one of the more worrying late stage (or early stage, depending on how we’re organizing things) events. Consider the near continual attacks on statues over the last few years. Consider further the destruction of traditional history instruction in many public and private schools. Consider further the condition of our first, second, and third tier colleges and universities. Given just those data points, I think that anyone paying attention would need to be at least concerned that shit is about to get real.
